The students of the primary schools throughout the Bosnia and Herzegovina were in the focus of the Intercultural Festival – they presented their customs through the dance, games, culinary specialties and films. In a creative way each municipality was presented at the exhibition “Frame for My Family Photo”.
Intercultural Festival gathered around 250 students and teachers from Bihać, Gradiška, Jajce, Mostar, Novo Sarajevo, Prijedor, Rudo, Srebrenik and Teslić. The Festival is part of the project „Development of the approach on resolution of the problem of inequality based on the ethnic bases at the community level”, that is implemented within the MDG-F Programme Culture for Development.
MDG-F Culture for Development is funded by the Spanish MDG Achievement Fund. It is a partnership programme implemented by three United Nations agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, namely the UNDP, UNICEF and UNESCO, in close collaboration with the national Ministry of Civil Affairs, the entity Ministries of Culture and Education, as well as other institutions responsible for education and culture in the country.
